Developmental editing, or content editing, focuses on big-picture edits regarding the content and structure of your entire manuscript. This service includes an extensive edit letter with recommendations, as well as in-document comments to provide more targeted guidance.

Developmental editing starts at $0.035 per word.

Beta reading focuses on providing reader reactions to your manuscript at a big-picture level. It includes a shorter letter than a manuscript assessment or developmental edit, and centers on my experience as a reader, rather than craft or editorial recommendations.

Sensitivity reading is specialized beta reading in which I use my unique experiences to help you write characters or situations outside of your own experience. Contact me for a full list of the types of sensitivity reading I offer.
