. . . writes from Seattle, where they like to hike in the dry season and train martial arts while it rains. Raised in the Carolinas in the Southern Baptist church, they are the apostate eldest daughter of a Latina mother and a white father.

Their fiction is published or forthcoming in Escape Pod, PseudoPod, Small Wonders, Heartlines Spec, and elsewhere. They’ve won the NYC Midnight and Writing Battle microfiction contests, as well as a few martial arts tournaments.

They’re a graduate of Viable Paradise 2025 and a full member of SFWA and Codex, and a First Reader at Apex Magazine.

They have a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington and an M.S. in Technical Communication. They’ve worked full time as a technical writer and editor for over a decade, and coauthored a nonfiction book on technical writing in enterprise software.
