They live in Seattle, where they like to hike in the dry season and train martial arts while it rains.

They’ve worked full time as a technical writer and editor for over a decade, and coauthored a nonfiction book on technical writing in enterprise software.

They’re a member of SFWA, Codex, and WorldCon 2025, and will be attending Viable Paradise 2025. They have a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington and an M.S. in Technical Communication.
